2013 Online Education Workshop

Friday, March 22, 2013
Advances in communications technologies and the widespread embrace of social networking have greatly enhanced the feasibility of offering online engineering courses as viable alternatives to in-person labs and lectures.  Electrical and computer engineering educators need to understand the potential for delivering ECE programs online and learn about the tools for creatingonline courses.

This workshop will bring together ECE faculty with experts in social media and online education from academia, industry, and government agencies to accelerate the integration of these technologies into ECE education and enable effective online delivery of ECE courses.
