The WECEDHA Chairs met October 23-24, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The meeting started with presentations of highlights from each school, enrollments, programs, research activities, etc. Then there was a detailed discussion of ABET issues and schools recently visited or will have visits in next two years reporting. Other topics discussed included: Curriculum, faculty salaries, startup packages, changes going on (including mergers) and budget situation.

Representatives from California, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Washington, were in attendance. It was agreed that the group will meet in November of 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This meeting was well-received by those in attendance.
