Using netCIRCUITlabs, the Universities can…

- Enhance student learning with real hardware, hands-on experiments across the Internet.

- Immediately (out of the box) implement remote controlled experiments using the netCIRCUITlabs applications boards, or the lab staff can implement their existing analog or digital electronics circuits on the netCIRCUITlabs Breadboard applications board.

netCIRCUITlabs comes with a Control Unit and Plug in applications boards to cover different experiment topics. The University uses a Control Unit and one or more Plug-in Experiment applications boards to meet their course requirements.

Experiment topics covered by netCIRCUITlabs applications boards:

Circuit Theory.

Transistor Circuits.

Op-Amp Circuits.

Digital Logic.

Custom Circuits - a solderless breadboard which allows the professor to build their own electronic circuits, make them remotely controllable and deliver custom experiments to students.

Emona TutorTIMS – Simulation Software for Telecoms Experiments

TutorTIMS is SIMULATION software covering communications theory experiments, for teaching analog and digital modulation. TutorTIMS is a powerful adjunct to the Emona TIMS hardware labs.

Purely GUI, with NO coding, NO syntax and NO complex menus or preconditions to set-up, TutorTIMS is the easiest to use amongst communications simulators for teaching telecoms theory.

Installation is particularly easy, just download or save the program file, as the TutorTIMS program only requires Java Runtime Engine to be installed. (Which most computers have installed be default).

For the faculty, managing and controlling TutorTIMS software distribution is particularly easy. The system keeps track of access by username, which is controlled by the professor. The professor logs onto a cloud-based Admin page and enters the username/s. The professor may choose to use a common username and password for the entire class each semester, or may choose to upload class lists, so each student has a unique username/password to log on.

Professors have complete control over the username and password via the on-line Administration page. The Admin page also provides statistics on usage

No setting-up is required by the student.

There are various versions of the Software available. User-number limited, time-limited and unlimited options along with Basic experiments, Advanced experiments as well as Signals & Systems experiments.
