Join us for an engaging flipped classroom ECEDHA Lab Pros Network zoom call on “Running Labs in a Pandemic - Early Lessons Learned.” Gain insights and share your biggest challenges and significant accomplishments based on your virtual learning experience to-date.

We are looking for participants from both academia and industry to submit a short video on lessons learned….what you want to share with the ECE community. Please see full details below!

 

Video Submission Guidelines

Please see the below guidelines and important information regarding video submissions:

  • Interested commenters must submit a video for consideration
  • Video is to be no more than 5 minutes in length
  • Video must contain informative content (What do you want to share with the community…see list of suggested questions below)
  • Demos are encouraged, production value need not be high quality
  • Videos are not to be commercial
  • Upload your video in mp4 format or directly to YouTube
  • mp4 files should be sent via Dropbox to Claire Seifert, cseifert@ecedha.org
  • YouTube links can be emailed directly to Claire Seifert, cseifert@ecedha.org
  • Videos can be recorded on your mobile device, computer, zoom video, etc.
  • Videos must be submitted by September 11

Academic

  • Where do you need to be more flexible, where do you need to be creative?
  • From your work with industry since COVID, what information is critical to share?
  • What were your challenges in arranging for unique shipping scenarios?
  • What are you most proud of with distance learning?
  • What did you learn that you did not know previously now that you are working more closely with industry?
  • Ideas on building student engagement and community since all students are online.
  • Virtual community building using online social events, hackathons, games.
     

Corporate

  • What is your corporation doing to ease the pain for universities
  • What are your future plans to assist in virtual learning, knowing it will be around for the foreseeable future?
  • What has been your biggest challenge, or most significant thing happen since the pandemic?
  • What do you want the academic community to know or understand?
