Tour spots will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis until the tour is full.

In 1937, the scientific study of tree-rings in America was formalized by the creation of the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research at the University of Arizona in Tucson. The Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research was at one time, the nation's only dendrochronology lab. During the tour, you will be introduced to the basic tenets of dendrochronology, have a chance to examine specimens, and explore the Exhibit Hall. While there will be opportunities for sitting, be advised that there is an excessive amount of walking through the Laboratory.
